I don’t understand… Le Figaro Madame pictures

Le Figaro Madame has done a fashion shooting in Dubai called “Golden Arabie” (Golden Arabia) and I don’t know what to think.

It seems that they took normal people and ask them to pause with some accessories and other clothes, all goldish. What I don’t understand is that the picture are of a poor quality and scenery (Maybe one or two are ok) but it is so cliche!

Gold and Dubai? Can we not go over it now? There is much more to talk about and isn’t it Karl Lagarfeld who said:
Bling is dead! (As per BKRW).

I don’t know I feel this is quite lousy so make your own opinion there!

Michael Lau exhibition around the world (Not in UAE?)

Well toys are a little big part of my life when I was a kid (Gi Joe, Transformers, Lego, Playmobil, Big Jim, barbies not that, that was later)  and  only a bit less since I’m trying to be less of a kid!

So I am interested in the evolution of toys for “Adult” and every time I can I try to see what’s up.

To be honest one of the biggest Toymaker/Artist is Michael Lau! Only one of my 7 toy is of  his creation and you can see it below. I post because he is doing a lil exhibition for his 10 years of creation of the Gardener line and The Hundreds show us a bit of it.

As you can see on the report from the Hundreds his work is FUCK*NG awesome!

I need this type of energy here around! I know skate is quite developed around the Emirates town but I can’t see it (Maybe the current heat you will tell me) and I love to see the kids doing it!

In terms of party I want this wild, everything is ours, I don’t give a f**k feeling! People are so… so… so not trash… not trash trash but be at least Glam trash! Heeee you see what I mean well the ones who see… Anyhow it’s different and the party of DIM Mak x Alife x Santos looks out of this world!

My friends the Vinylpushers went to “Le Jour J” a European Graffiti Festival! The cast was amazing with name like Mode2 or Bando and some of the production were a blast (Specially the one that I put!)

Stash, Futura and Phil Frost in Dubai

On the 19 of March 2009 Dubai probably had its first “graffiti exhibition” that took place at Cuadro Fine Art Gallery and it was organized by Madkrunk.

I was lucky enough to be there and what was supposed to be a nice exhibition become a fantastic moment shared with Stash (no real web link) himself and my friends!

Modern Art Museum of Dubai

When Abu Dhabi will have the Guggenheim and the Louvre, Dubai will have the Museum of Mordern Art of the Middle East.

As per the information there will be a galleria, shopping centre and hotel attached to it! Not surprising that there will be a shopping centre and a hotel but I start getting fed up of this set up!

The running exhibition…

Well as you know I like sneakers and so Sport as yes I’m not just an Hypebeast getting more and more fat! Even if I fight for that!

Well so let’s talk about this crazy Running Art performance:

“Work No. 850 centres on a simple idea: that a person will run as fast as they can every thirty seconds through the gallery. Each run is followed by an equivalent pause, like a musical rest, during which the grand Neoclassical gallery is empty.

This work celebrates physicality and the human spirit. Creed has instructed the runners to sprint as if their lives depended on it.
