“Loosely adapted from Alan Clarkes‘s 1989 Classic TV film, Nick Love‘s film is set earlier in the 80’s and retells a similar story to the original – but from a different character’s point of view. The film centres on Dom, a young wannabe football casual who gets drawn into the charismatic but dangerous world of the firm’s top boy, Bex
Accepted for fast mouth and sense of humour, Dom soon becomes one of the boys. But as Bex ands his gang clash with rival firms across the country and the violence spiral out of controls, Dom realises he wants out – until he learns it’s not that easy to simply walk away.
Humorous, heart warming and set to a killer jazz funk 80’s sountrack, The Firm is a classic coming of age story set amongst one of England’s most revered tribes!”
It looks like one of those movie that you enjoy and laugh about because it remind you a bit of you when you were a kid! Get accepted by the crew and get your style fixed to grab a piece of the big life!
Also as the casual scene is back on the front raw without the bad memories of the Heysel or others so it fill a lot of empty space in brains! That should be a good movie to enjoy with the lads before going to see your fav team on the terrace isn’t it!
